Alanna Braham

UX Researcher

Alanna Braham is a UX Researcher at Nimbus Research Centre with a professional background in web development and design. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with clients to build meaningful and engaging digital experiences that elevate their online presence. Over time, Alanna’s work naturally evolved toward UX, where she developed a strong interest in understanding user needs and translating insights into actionable design decisions. In September 2025, she graduated with a Master’s in User Experience and Service Design from MTU.

For her master’s thesis, Alanna explored ways to improve financial literacy among young women in Ireland. Her research highlighted the specific challenges this group faces and the impact these barriers have on their financial confidence and long-term wellbeing. The project culminated in ‘Aisling’, a conceptual online financial education platform designed to deliver targeted, accessible financial learning for women aged 18–26.

Alanna is skilled in user research, design-thinking, service design, user interface design, prototyping, and data analysis. She specialises in transforming complex problems into clear, human-centred solutions and collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure that design strategies support real business goals – while always keeping the user at the core of the process.
