Ioana Macovei

Ioana Macovei is a Cybersecurity Researcher, holding a BA in Psychology (U.A.I.C. in Iasi, Romania), a BSc in IT Management (T.U. Dublin) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Cybersecurity (Sunderland University). Besides everything cybersecurity related, Ioana also has a keen interest in web development, having completed various programming courses. She developed several websites which she continues to actively maintain and update. Additionally, Ioana is a FIDE-accredited chess instructor and was the Irish Women’s Chess Champion for 2017, 2018 and 2019, as well as former European Junior Champion in 2009.
