Peter Sunny

Researcher

Peter Sunny Markappa is a researcher at the Nimbus Research Centre with an interest in AI and Machine learning, in particular Time Series forecasting and Computer Vision.
 
He has completed a MSc in Artificial Intelligence from MTU (2022), where his thesis focused on the application of Time Series forecasting to expand the prediction time horizon for the electricity market in Ireland. Prior to this, he completed a MSc in Computer Science at Karnatak University Dharwad, India in 2013 and a Bachelor of Computer Application from the Karnatak University in 2010. Additionally, he has previously worked in Ebenezer IT Solutions as a Software Engineer on Health Care related projects.
 
His research interest includes Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Image Processing, Time Series Modelling and NLP.
